Meghan Herning

Meghan is an ambitious young litigator with experience in criminal defense, immigration, and civil litigation. Meghan is a graduate of the 1ST STEP program at Golden Gate University School of Law, where she learned how to litigate from motions in limine to closing arguments. Meghan interned at the Alameda County Public Defender’s Office and is bilingual in English and Spanish as well as fluent in Brazilian Portuguese.


Meghan is a 4th generation San Jose native and a proud latina. Meghan has a unique combination of experience in education, lobbying, entrepreneurship, and activism that makes her well suited to help clients with complex legal issues. Meghan is a UCSC alumna and she loves to travel, learn new languages, write, and be with family.
